Seven-year the head of the European Hydrogen and fuel cell research program – Clean Hydrogen Partnership, overseeing a EUR 1 billion EU fund leveraged by an additional EUR 1 billion in private investment to accelerate the hydrogen sector.

Project portfolio
As Executive Director of the Clean Hydrogen Partnership, Bart supported more than 360 research and innovation projects involving over 1,000 companies and institutions across Europe. His leadership was instrumental in launching over a dozen Hydrogen Valleys, laying the groundwork for integrated regional hydrogen ecosystems.
Today, as CEO of Green Energy Park Global, Bart leads the development of gigawatt-scale hydrogen production facilities in Brazil — including pioneering green Hot Briquetted Iron (HBI) projects designed to decarbonize the global steel industry and reshape energy-intensive value chains.
